I am a freelance writer based in New York City. In addition to creating content for clients in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, I write about art, culture, and the evolution of the visitor experience in museums and other cultural institutions.
Previously I held sales and account management roles at design innovation consultancies focused on delivering exceptional consumer experiences to the market. In that time I partnered with a broad range of start-up and Fortune 500 clients to develop brand appropriate product offerings for their portfolios.
Prior to joining the consulting world I researched and wrote auction catalog entries for the silver department at Sotheby’s while completing my graduate studies. I received an MA from the Bard Graduate Center: Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture program where my thesis explored the nineteenth century vogue for collecting art and the proscribed taste of the era from the vantage point of a single New York collection sold at auction in 1886.
